Bauman Moscow State Technical University became a four-time Russian champion in the Formula Student technobattle.

The Bauman Racing Team (BRT) from Bauman Moscow State Technical University became a four-time winner of the Formula Student Russia engineering and sports competition.

From August 26th to 28th, the Formula Student Russia competition was held in Moscow, where the team from Bauman Moscow State Technical University presented their new electric car, the BRT-8D. To reduce weight, BRT engineers manufactured many bodywork components, such as the nose cone and the rear and front wings, from ITEKMA composite materials. Two-component T30-60 epoxy resin and carbon fiber fabrics with densities of 200 and 400 g/m² were used to create the components.



FORMULA STUDENT is an international educational project founded by the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers). Its goal is to develop students' engineering thinking and develop specialists prepared to tackle challenging creative challenges.
