Surface sealant SR27 is a two-component composition designed for sealing MDF boards, products made of polymer composite materials (PCM) and improving the tightness of composite equipment.
Surface sealant SR27 is a two-component composition designed for sealing master models made of model boards and MDF, as well as equipment made of polymer composite materials.
Features and Benefits
Easy to apply
Curing at room temperature
Operating temperature up to 190°C on the non-working surface of the equipment
Viscosity less than 500 mPa*s.
Directions for use
Mix components “A” and “B” immediately before use in a mass ratio of 100:29, respectively.
IMPORTANT! When sealing equipment with operating temperatures above 40°C, SR27 may only be applied to the non-working side of the equipment being sealed.
Apply a thin layer with a brush or roller to the non-working surface of the equipment to be sealed and let it sit for 2 hours. If necessary, repeat the procedure without pre-preparing the surface.
IMPORTANT! SR27 may be used for master models made of MDF or model plastic on the theoretical contour side, provided the operating temperature does not exceed 40°C.
After applying and curing SR27 on the working surface of the MDF master model, sand the SR27 using water to avoid overheating and rolling of the composition.
The curing time of the SR27 surface sealant at room temperature (23−5 +5)°C is 12-30 hours
Curing is allowed at a temperature of (65−5 +5)°C for 2.5±0.5 hours.
Depending on the tightness of the PCM surface, apply the SR27 surface sealant in 2-4 layers
