ITM200 is a unidirectional, weft-free carbon tape specifically designed for manual lamination. ITM200 provides high mechanical properties after impregnation with ITECMA epoxy binders.
Carbon tapes have superior mechanical properties in the grain direction compared to fabrics due to the absence of kinks during weaving. Therefore, carbon tapes are suitable for load-bearing structures subject to high loads in one direction, such as aircraft wing spars.
