RNS450 is an autoclave phthalonitrile prepreg with a uniquely high glass transition temperature and thermal stability, used for the production of polymer composite materials (PCM) using pressing and autoclave molding methods.
Polymeric composite materials produced from prepreg are designed for long-term use at temperatures up to 300°C in an oxidizing atmosphere and retain their mechanical properties for short periods at temperatures up to 400°C. In an inert atmosphere, long-term use is possible at temperatures up to 400°C.
